Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

  1. Shipping Methods: We offer a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs. All orders are shipped via reputable carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Our available shipping options are currently limited to ground & first class mail. Please note that shipping rates may vary depending on the weight and size of your order. Specific shipping rates may be arranged via email if necessary.

  2. Order Processing Time: ALL 3D-Printed orders are subject to a minimum 3-day processing time, with a 7 day minimum processing time, if ordering a battery enclosure. Light orders will only be subject to a 2-day processing time, and will usually ship the Friday of the same week of order, or earlier, depending on which comes first.
    Battery enclosures and ESC enclosures require both time to print the enclosure, and assemble all of the components, with the battery + QS assembly taking longest. If you are concerned about the status of your order, please message or email and status updates will be provided.

  3. Processing Time: Due to the small size of the business and volume of orders, standard shipping will occur once per week, typically on Fridays. If faster shipping is necessary, it will be offered on a case-by-case basis, please email for information.

  4. Shipping Time: Once your order has been shipped, the estimated delivery time will depend on the shipping method you have chosen. Standard ground shipping typically takes 3-7 business days, while expedited shipping takes 2-3 business days.

  5. International Shipping: We currently do not offer international shipping, but we hope to expand our shipping options in the near future.

  6. Order Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track your package online and get real-time updates on the status of your delivery.

  7. Shipping Rates: Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and size of your order, as well as the shipping method you choose during checkout. Shipping rates will be displayed during the checkout process before you submit your order. PEVComponents.com does not directly control the shipping cost of your order, as it is provided by a 3rd party website.

  8. Order Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been shipped, we will do our best to cancel it and issue a refund. However, if your order has already been shipped, you will need to follow our return policy to receive a refund.

Return & Exchange Policy

  1. Defect-Based Returns: We stand behind the quality of our electric skateboard components and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a defective or damaged item, we will gladly offer a return or exchange. All orders are photographed before shipping, and are packaged well to ensure damage is not incurred in transit.

  2. Return Policy: To initiate a defect-based return, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order. You will need to provide your order number, a description of the defect, and any photos or videos that can help us understand the issue. All parts are inspected before shipping, and due to the nature of 3D printing, it is normal to see occasional surface imperfections. While these are kept to a minimum, it is possible that some defects may slip through. Once we have reviewed your request and confirmed that it is eligible for a return, we will provide you with a return shipping label. Components must be returned in original condition, and all returns of 3D printed components will be subject to a restocking fee of $10. If the components are found to be obviously used, a refund may not be issued.

  3. Exchange Policy: If you received an item with a defect or issue, and would like to exchange it for a replacement, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order. You will need to provide your order number, reason for exchange, and any photos or complaints about the product. Once we have reviewed your request and confirmed that it is eligible for an exchange, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how to return the exchange item. Once we receive the item and verify the condition of the product, we will ship a replacement for only the cost of shipping.

  4. Refund Policy: If you receive a defective item and do not wish to exchange it for a replacement, you must return the defective item, at buyer's shipping expense, and after the item is received, we will issue a full refund for the cost of the item plus any applicable taxes and shipping charges.  As with normal returns, refunded items will be subject to a $10 restocking fee. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used to make the purchase. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

  5. Non-Defective Returns: If you wish to return an item for any reason other than a defect or damage, our regular return policy will apply. We do not offer returns or exchanges for items that have been misused or damaged due to customer negligence. Water damage to components would also not be considered eligible for return.
